Rainfall |
| Along the west coast, rainfall decreases as one moves north from Cape Town to Namibia (greater than 700 mm to less than 100 mm) (Ref. 3). | |

The west coast
receives very little rainfall. An average annual rainfall of 60mm was
measured at Port Nolloth (Ref. 3). |
