Zwart Lintjies Rivier is the name given to the original farms on which the estuary is situated. (Ref 1) | ||||||

This estuary falls within a strict security area of the Koringnaas mining concession of De Beers Consolidated Diamond Mines. due to the active mining operations in the immediate vicinity of the estuary, security clearance is required by anyone entering the area and visitors are accompanied by a security guard at all times. (Ref 1) | ||||||
