HARTENBOS RIVER: Overview

Approximately 20 untamed watercourses enter the Hartenbos along its length.  The two tributaries are the Goedemoedrivier and Melkboomrivier in the upper catchment above the Hartebeeskuil Dam.  (Ref 1)
The area of the Hartenbos catchment is given as 207 km2.  (Ref 1)
The total river length of the Hartenbos from its source to the mouth is approximately 32 km.  (Ref 1)
