EAST COAST RIVERS (Tugela to Mozambique)
 
The major rivers between  the Tugela mouth and Kosi Bay are the the Mfolozi with a catchment area of 11318  km2  and the Mkuze with a catchment area of 6086  km2 .
 

Nyoni      
The length of the river is approximately 25 km. The catchment area is approximately 114 km2. (Ref. 2)      
Matigulu    
The length of the river is approximately 84 to 108 km. The catchment area is approximately 900 km2. (Ref. 2)    
Siyai    
The length of the river is approximately 8 km. The catchment area is approximately 18 km2. (Ref. 2)    
Mlalazi    
The length of the river is approximately 54 km. The catchment area is approximately 492 km2. (Ref. 1)      
Mhlatuze River      
The catchment area is approximately 3670 km2. (Ref. 1)    
Mfolozi    
The length of the river is approximately 395 km. The catchment area is approximately 11318 km2. (Ref. 2)    
Msunduzi    
The length of the river is approximately 70 km. The catchment area is approximately 559 km2. (Ref. 2)    
Mpate      
Flows into the St Lucia system. The length of the river is approximately 15 km. The catchment area is approximately 65 km2. (Ref. 2)      
Nyalazi    
Flows into the St Lucia system. The length of the river is approximately 97 km. The catchment area is approximately 725 km2. (Ref. 2)    
Hluhluwe    
Flows into the St Lucia system. The length of the river is approximately 112 km. The catchment area is approximately 1010 km2. (Ref. 2)    
Mzinene    
Flows into the St Lucia system. The length of the river is approximately 72 km. The catchment area is approximately 808 km2. (Ref. 2)      
Mkuze      
Flows into the St Lucia system. The length of the river is approximately 306 km. The catchment area is approximately 6086 km2. (Ref. 2)      
Mgobezeleni      
The length of the river is approximately 6 km. The catchment area is approximately 35 km2. (Ref. 2)      
Sihadla      
Flows into the Kosi system. The length of the river is approximately 30 km. The catchment area is approximately 500 km2. (Ref. 2)      
Nswamanzi      
Flows into the Kosi system. The length of the river is approximately 15 km.  (Ref. 2)      
Incomati      
Important feeders of the Incomati (in Mozambique) are the Sabie and Crocodile Rivers, which drain the Kruger National Park and the north eastern slopes of the Drakensberg Mountains.      
Limpopo River      
The mouth is near Xai-Xai in Mozambique.
